Had an awesome visit in Ulricehamn! Skiing, laughing, dreaming, talking,
planning and rushing to the bus... Anna, you rock :)
"It's all greek to me"
Now I can tell you what my name is, ask you how you are, and ask what your name is (in 4 different ways) and I can hold up a pen and ask you what it is. Thihi... Love it. It's such a beautiful language. And the letters, they're so aesthetially awesome!
So, καλινύχτα!

Help me go to Australia!
You've probably heard about it already. The job in the great barrier reef where you're a caretaker of the islands. Well, of course I, along with the other billion people, had to apply for it. And I made a video really last minute... (literally, 2 hours before the closing of the applications) so just take it for what it is.... ;P Since I don't have a professional studio or anything, it sounds like crap (i know). No sound editing, mastering, nada. But just press mute or turn the volume down and vote for me! Pretty, pretty please! :)
Here's the link: (it takes a while for it to upload)

Tick of time
Oh, and yesterday I started guitar lessons! Wii, it was so much fun! I just love playing on my Taylor! I've never taken any lessons whatsoever when it comes to guitar so that was enlightening. I was supposed to take the level 3 classes, but there weren't enough people signed up so I had to move down to level 2. It's a lot of repetition, like "does anyone know where D is?' But hopefully we'll be making progress ;) And on Thursday I'm starting greek. I reallly can't wait for that! It feels awesome to start learning stuff again. I think that part of my brain has been asleep for a while.
Aaaaaand, April 4th I'll be sitting on a plane down to my dear Martina in Austria :D Yep I've got the tickets now and I soooo can't wait :)
Mammoth
I saw the movie Mammoth today. It was really awesome! Dad picked me up right after work and after some yummie indian food we rushed to the movie theater. The place was jammed! I mean, gosh. We were gonna watch Australia but it was sold out, just like all the other 14 (or something) movies. Our only option was Mammoth, with only 8 seats left. All of them seperate. So dad and I sat 2 rows apart and at the opposite end... haha. Good excuse to not share a popcorn! I just got my own :) Anyway, the movie was great. I really recomend it. I had heard that it was a good one, but didn't really know that much about it. I wasn't prepared for it to be so emotional and in-your-face. Luckily, I sat right between two older ladies who, like me, eventually couldn't fight back the tears. So I didn't feel that much of a wimp.. Anyways, see it!
And don't miss Gael García Bernal. Although he changed to became kind of an @$$hole in the movie, he sure is something to look at :P
My favourite lines:
- I was married to my first husband for 7 years, and the second husband for 12 years...
- What about your third one?
- Well, he's not born yet. And he's mother is dead.
What day is it again?

On a diet
So, we're off to the grocery store to buy stuff I can eat now. I have a feeling I'm not gonna be happy about it :/ Ahh, I just remembered I've got Ben & Jerry Ice cream in the freezer(!) Who's gonna eat that? Oh man. I don't know if I can do this... But according to a friend, chocolate does not contain gluten! Wehoo :) Fish and chocolate for 14 days...
Why do these all of a sudden look so good?

Back to where I was
Last night I came back from a weekend of fun in Skara. Gosh, I've missed that place! When Ida and I was walking those familiar streets, it felt just like back in the days. We went to our old school, and seriously, I'd do anything to have those year back. Miss them terribly.
Sowe spent almost the whole Friday being nostalic. Right from the moment I stepped out from the bus I smelled Skara (Scan) and it all just came back. The images, memories, everything... We also went to Systembolaget and found some Australian white wine that we just had to buy! I prefer red, but since Ida hates red wine we went with the white one. It wasn't that bad, I kinda liked it. But it was probably just because where it was originated ;) Then Josse and Therese came and talked some old memories with us. So nice! We also had the time to make a superfast visit to Olins, but the place was practically empty, so we left in the doorway.
Saturday was also really nice, I went with Ida to her theater rehersal. Oh, how I miss acting. It was really fun watching them rehearse. Later that day dad came and we went to a cafe for some vanilla rolls :P Yumm. Really awesome weekend. Ida, I wished you lived closer...Bummer. Anyway, now I'm back home renovating the kitchen. Fun. Or not. The whole apartment's a mess right now. Can't wait for it to be done.

Yes Man!
And on Friday I got some nice plans :) Gonna take the bus up to Skara and see Ida and Josse, and hopefully Therese too :) That's gonna be so much fun! We've got alot to catch up on. Both when it comes to hanging out and to go out dancing :P
Alrighty, Good night

A Different Christmas
After working 7 days straight I went into town and finished the last christmas shopping on Monday. I know it's super late and last minute, but I really hadn't had the time to do it before. And then I worked 23rd and 24th. We decided early that we're gonna do most of the celebrating on the 25th instead of the 24th. So I worked the first half of the day at Åhlens and then went home for yummie christmas lunch and watching some Kalle Anka's Jul, and then off to the volonteer event in Gothenburg. I must admit, at first I was pretty nervous. I didn't know what to expect. But it was really nice actually. You could almost touch the christmas spirit. There were christmas food, santa claus, presents, christmas tree, happy people and lussekatter everywhere. My mom and I were in charge of the coffe table and made sure eveyone there got a lot of sweets and coffie :) It was a mix of homeless people, drug addicts, alcoholics, poor poeple and just ordinary people that doesn't fit into any of those categories. After about 2 hours the minister held an evening worship. There was also this really cool piano guy who totally rocked all the religious songs and took them to a complete new level. Awesome! When it was over we helped with the cleaning and then we were ready to go. I was all warm and fuzzy inside afterwards. It felt so good. I think that they helped me more than I helped them. They helped me realize just how much I have to be grateful for and to not take it for granted. I think this is a start of a new christmas tradition.
Then on Christmas day, we had a lazy christmas :) Just eating good food, reading, watching movies - the way I like it. I'm kinda low maintenance when it comes to christmas. It's the little things that count and make it special.
Today I hit the mall, SALE :D I found some nice things, although I do miss shopping in the U.S. So much more to choose from AND cheaper ;) Shopping is exhausting though! And here I am, dead on the couch with my computer on my lap. I have som catching up to do, when it comes to everything. I finally sent my christmas cards that I wrote probably like 2 weeks ago. So sorry everyone, I know it's late, but better late than never, right? ;)
Anyway, feels nice to finally have the time to write something. Right now I'm trying to figure out a bulletproof new years resolution. Something that I can really keep....Hmm....We'll see.
Happy Holidays!

Fjärde Advent

Now the 4th candle is lit and I'm looking forward to celebrating Christmas in a different and new way.
Merry X-mas everyone out there! 3 days to go...

2 years later...
But on Monday I'm gonna go shopping! Whii, can't wait! I got some gift certificates that I just neeeed to use :) And I do need some clothes. You people who know me might not agree, but it's really true. I'm only allowed to wear clothes from our store or one colored shirts and stuff. And I really have NOTHING one colored to wear (well, almost nothing). I usually wear shirts with patterns on or with a lot of different colors. So I need clothes. Period.
I'll get back here when I have something decent to write.
