Utmanad

Beach 2010

I stumbled across this design competition on nelly.se. So I designed this bikini in the hopes (yeah big hopes) of winning 20.000 sek to travel for :) Maybe Australia again? ;)
The bikini with the highest score wins, so.... *wink* :P

You're counting my thoughts

I could.
I probably should.
I want to?
Then I would.
Or would I?

Updates from a snowy winter wonderland

Yes, I'm probably the only person here in Gothenburg that loves the snow. I absofuckinglutely love the snow! 1 meter, 3 meters, doesn't matter. Bring it on! :) And now with the Winter Olympics on the TV, the weather outside my window is just perfect. Speaking about the winter olympics, isn't this hat just the coolest ever?? I waaaaant it!

Continuing with the winter feeling, I made the yummiest soft bread ever the other day! Thought I should share the recipe with you:

Lapplands Tunnbröd (You can make it vegan just by replacing the butter and the milk)
50 g smör
5 dl mjölk (eller solhavre som jag använde)
12 g jäst (1/4 aaav ett paket)
2 tsk salt
4 msk yogurt eller filmjölk
1.5 dl graham mjöl
0.5 tsk hjortronssalt

  • Låt jäsa under duk ca 30 minuter.
  • Dela degen i 12 bullar.

Aaaaand last but not least, guess what band's coming to Sweden???? AEROSMITH!!! O M G - Happiness!!
They're coming to Sweden Rock Festival and I really hope I can go there with Anna. Totally dream coming true again!! This year is gonna be a.m.a.z.i.n.g!!! I get goosebumps just by looking at a picture of these living legends.

    Du och jag mot världen

    What's it to you?

Freedom. One word. A word that means so much to us. A word that has been the fuel for many inspirational changes in our lives but also brought a lot of misery to this world. The definition of Freedom is something different to everyone which is probably the reason why it sometimes leads to conflicts.

I've been thinking about what it means to me lately. To some, freedom is having money or graduating. To others, freedom is living on the countyside, traveling or having a job they like. What's freedom to you? Maybe it changes throughout your life. Bur right here, right now my own definition of freedom is being able to go anywhere.

    Mmm...

    [Hello Perfect Stranger,
did you know we already have a song?]

    Nervous up to here

DON'T like klaustrophobia. Hate it, actually. And I also don't see a point in going into this narrow tube tunnel. I mean, it's not the brain they're gonna x-ray, it's my arm. Can't they just build a tiny tunnel for the arm. That would've been awesome. Then I woulnd't be so scared. Yes, I said it. Scared. Terrified even.
And it didn't exactly help watching 2 seasons of Grey's Anatomy straight through. Now I'm paranoid..
But I do hope they find something and fix it so I can go back to life. Or maybe I hope they don't find anything.
    Bleh.

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger injured.

    Beauty of randomness

I love how our mailman always takes his hat off and sits down on the chair outside our door to rest (we live on the top floor) after he's pressed down the mail through the door slot. But just for a minute, though, to catch his breath. Then: hat on, and down the stairs to the next house.

The older man at the grocery store who always "forgets" to buy a plastic bag, and then takes one and say he'll pay the next time..

The stranger who eagerly told me about his trip to Åland. The boatride, the tax free, the food, the view, the rooms, the busride to Stockholm...everything.

I passed a day care center on my walk and this little boy came up to me behind the fences and asked if I wanted to marry him. Who could say no to that?

The text message from my younger brother saying "You're the best".

All the reactions we got from costumers at work when we painted our faces to look like zombies. I've never gotten that many compliments in one day, and this day I looked like a living dead person. How to interpretate that? ;)

The old lady peeking out through her window everyday, believing no ones sees her, even though it's hard to miss the curtain moving and her bright shining white hair through the glass.

    Already miss you

Had to say goodbye to Ida this morning :(( Haaaaaate goodbyes! Wish you the best year in NZ though!!! You're gonna have a blast! Gonna miss you tons <3

Can't wait to hear your new kiwi accent :P

Some things I've learnt about people

First impressions are very misleading, a person who you don't like at first might turn out as a new friend. AND vice versa.
    ***
Some people will do anything to make themselves feel better, usually by making others feel worse than themselves.
    ***
By saying 'no' more than 'yes' you'll be surrounded by the true friends. The others will leave with the 'no'.
    ***
The conversations with strangers are sometimes the most interesting ones.
    ***
Sometimes you come across a person that you feel has been in your life since the beginning of time, even though you just met.
    ***
There are some people that you see very rarely, but when you do, it's as if no time has passed at all.
    ***
There are connections that you feel go deep into your soul, beyond time and existance.
    ***
Prejudice is the most unflattering hat you can wear.

    September 25th

It's the international 'Hug a Vegetarian Day' today! Yay! Wish I knew more vegetarians though. Or at least had them within reach ;) Anyway, a virtual hug is on the way for all of you veggie lovers out there!

'International Hug a Vegetarian' Day Friday, September 25, 2009

Why do all good things come to an end?

Page 658.  Only 96 pages left. I'm dying to see what's gonna happen at the same time, I hate that it's coming to an end. So I've promised myself to not read more than 20 pages a day, so it'll last longer ;) But it's so hard!

    My Swedish vegan pancakes

    ● soy milk/oat milk (whichever you prefer)
    2 tablespoons olive oil
    ● 1 tablespoon brown sugar
    ● 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
    ● spelt flour
(add until it's as thick as you want it)
2 teaspoons of egg replacer (Organ no egg)
    1/2 teaspoon salt

(The reason why I didn't write down the measurements for some of the ingredients is because I never measure it.. just play it by ear ;)

Mix in a bowl and put it in the fridge for about 30 minutes, then fry the pancakes!
    Enjoy!

    Give it to me!

I want, want, want to go to U.O so badly...

in the meantime I'll just dream about these two dresses (that i'm sure would love to move into my closet :)

    Today...

... i woke up by something biting arm (something was my cat)
... the gym beat the crap outta me
... i felt happy even though the weather was shitty
... my hair smells like bubble gum
... the song "Sunsets" was played 700 times on my guitar
... i worked on my day off
... i had a customer who could hear voices in her head talking to her
    ... i got scared of the voice-lady
... i ate too much cheese
    ... i missed someone
... a guy at the gym really annoyed me with his i-cut-the-line-'cos-i'm-so-friggin-important-attitude (yeah sure, if i was getting balled in my 20's i'd hurry up too)
    ... i couln't stop whistling
... i came up with a plan for my future
    ... i realized i'll soon be 20+
... i learned my first brazilian word, 'beleza'
... was an interesting but good day :)

    My first own strawberry

Grew on my balcony and is as organic as can be :)
    (And delicious!)

Some childish fun at Liseberg :)

    Happy 6th of June

I must admit, I felt a little bit patriotic today :)

    The old me is back

I have a test today, so I sort of need to do some reading. But what am I doing? Cleaning. Just got a major flashback from high school. Whenever I had to study for tests - my appartment was super clean. Hm... I wonder why? :) Well, at least the kitchen is neat and shining now.
