Alright, I'm starting to get nervous... I wish I had started practicing the song much earlier. Haven't sung it once without misstakes yet. I guess that's what happens when you choose a new song and don't practise. I kinda hope I won't perform. No, shame on me! I'm gonna make it! Gonna try to sing it with no misstakes this time. And then off to work until 10.30 pm. Gosh, I would've needed that time to practise... wish me luck..

Countdown (maybe)
Only 3 days left until the UKM festival!! It's a culture festvial where you can compete in everything from dance to music, to art, to poems. And since it's the one in Gothenburg they first let contestants from Gothenburg compete, so since I'm from Molndal 'm a stand-in, sort of... :) If I get the chance to perform I'm gonna sing and play one of my latest songs, On the Run. I'm nervous like hell, but it'll be fine. I just home my finger heals in time for it... *fingers crossed*

I'm such a cluts (again)
As I've mentioned before I cut up meat and ham and stuff like that at work. And today was a day just like all the other days, maybe I was a little bit more tired than usual, but nothing special. So I started cutting up some salami mix, and "swish", the blood started runnin from my fingertip. Yep, i cut it. Pretty deep. I knew it from the first day that the sharp cutting machine was gonna leave a mark on me someday. Just didn't think it would happen so soon. Stubborn as I am, I finished my shift and went to the emergency room after work instead. And because it had been more than 6 hours, they couldn't sew it, but they taped it together somehow instead. Hope it will heal soon. I wanna play the piano...
Oh, and did I mention that I'm such a cluts?

I ache to learn more
Today was the last guitar lesson. Can't believe how fast it went! I think I might continue this fall, it was so much fun :) I'm gonna miss it. I still have greek, though. Looked through the website of Univerity of Gothenburg and there are so many classes I wanna take this fall:

Like a walk in the park
It's amazing how much a simple walk in the evening sun can do. Felt like it was getting way too crowded up in my head so I grabbed my ipod, put on my walking shoes and Boston hoodie and stepped out the door. I was out for over an hour and I must say, I've sorted out a whole lot of mess up there. It would probably take 2 weeks of non stop walking to sort all of it out, but it's better than nothing. After a crappy day like this, it was exactly what I needed. Now I'm good to go again.

Forgot to mention I got a new job :) So now I have two jobs. I finally got my job at Ica, which I've been wanting for a long time now. Guess, what department I'm working at? The one where you cut up all the meat and cheese. Great, put the vegetarian at the deli with the meat. Haha. Funnily enough, we are 3 vegetarians at that section :) But I made it. It was my first day, and first days are always like...first days.. ;) I'll get the hang of it soon. Gotta sleep now, this day went by so fast.

Back from adventures in Austria
I just had the best week ever! Finally, after 7 months I got to see Martina again, and beautiful Austria. Gosh, we had so much fun! And it went by so too fast. I can't wait til you come to Sweden, sweetie! Now, I'm gonna sort out which picture to develope :)

By this time tomorrow, I'll be in Austria with my other half, Martina :D And I'm soooo excited! I've never been there before, and it's gonna be so cool to see the beautiful landscape of Sound of Music with my own eyes.
Can't wait to see Martina, Barbara and everyone else I've heard so much about!!
My bag is packed and I'm ready,
