A day at the beach, nearly 30 C, some ocean breeze, no clouds, my ipod, a pen and a notebook, bikini and some yummie food. What else can you ask for? Life is good. And I also wrote a song. Life is even better :)

Yep, today I went back to being blonde. Feels so nice with a change. I decided to do it yesterday and today I was lucky enough to get an appointment the same day. I got a really great hair dresser and I really enjoy having a lighter more summer-ish color :)

As I've mentioned before I cut up meat and ham and stuff like that at work. And today was a day just like all the other days, maybe I was a little bit more tired than usual, but nothing special. So I started cutting up some salami mix, and "swish", the blood started runnin from my fingertip. Yep, i cut it. Pretty deep. I knew it from the first day that the sharp cutting machine was gonna leave a mark on me someday. Just didn't think it would happen so soon. Stubborn as I am, I finished my shift and went to the emergency room after work instead. And because it had been more than 6 hours, they couldn't sew it, but they taped it together somehow instead. Hope it will heal soon. I wanna play the piano...

Oh, and did I mention that I'm such a cluts?

It's amazing how much a simple walk in the evening sun can do. Felt like it was getting way too crowded up in my head so I grabbed my ipod, put on my walking shoes and Boston hoodie and stepped out the door. I was out for over an hour and I must say, I've sorted out a whole lot of mess up there. It would probably take 2 weeks of non stop walking to sort all of it out, but it's better than nothing. After a crappy day like this, it was exactly what I needed. Now I'm good to go again.

Forgot to mention I got a new job :) So now I have two jobs. I finally got my job at Ica, which I've been wanting for a long time now. Guess, what department I'm working at? The one where you cut up all the meat and cheese. Great, put the vegetarian at the deli with the meat. Haha. Funnily enough, we are 3 vegetarians at that section :) But I made it. It was my first day, and first days are always like...first days.. ;) I'll get the hang of it soon. Gotta sleep now, this day went by so fast.

Alarm woke me up at 5.30am
Bus left at 6.23am
Started work at 6.45am
Was off at 4pm
Took the bus home
Ate superfast
Took bus to greek class
Missed bus home from grek class, la-la-la, wait for the next one...
Finally home at 9.25pm
Shower and bed
Lights out at 10.26pm

Just got home the movie theater were Anna and I saw Australia. What a movie! I'm so in love with every part of it! It was a rollercoaster ride from the beginning til the credits started rolling. Happy tears, sad tears, nervous tears, laughter, nailbiting, covering of both ears and eyes - yep, Australia had it all. I'm so stirred up with all these emotions, it's gonna take a while for me to land. A big part of the movie portrayed the segregation and opression of the aborigines. And I must say it touches you really deep down in your heart.

I feel like writing a whole essay about this subject but will instead end with this quote from Mr. Drover (Hugh Jackman, who I'll marry in the future ;) and I couldn't agree more:

"Just because it is, doesn't mean it should be"

I really suck at making swedish pancakes. Isn't that tragic? A 5 year old can make a pancake that's not either dough och black. Not me. But my american ones are pretty yummie :P
